The trick to sustainably-harvested firewood is hardly even a trick: just cut less than what grows.  No clear-cutting, just selectively trimming trees and thinning stands, so that what’s left can grow even better.

The Whitten family has been on this property for over 90 years and is managing the woods to provide firewood and timber for the next 90 (and beyond).  Only limited quantities of firewood are cut each season, so please email us to inquire about availability.
