Pasture-Raised Lamb

The old family business.
The Whitten family has been here for over 90 years now, and have been raising sheep for most of that time, and the county road running alongside the property was named for a sheep-herder who was here before us.
Our lamb is available by ½ lamb orders and, since the 2010 market season, also by the piece. The ½ lamb orders include about 20-25lb of meat.
Thus far, we have been buying feeder lambs and raising them up for butcher, but we are planning to start raising our own lambs for the 2012 season. We are leaning toward either Suffolk, Dorper, or possibly a cross of the two.
